The conversation everyone is getting wrong

If you are reading this, you probably hold some form of responsibility for the delivery of healthcare services, and you are almost certainly aware that the question of single-sex spaces has become one of the most heated topics in your world right now. Wards, toilets, changing facilities, waiting areas. The debate is everywhere, and I suspect you are feeling the pressure from multiple directions.

I want to talk to you about this because I think the conversation is being framed in entirely the wrong way, and I think that framing is leading to decisions that harm trans people without actually making anyone else safer.
