I am a medical doctor and have been working with the trans community for over a decade. I have seen joy and heartbreak, compassion and hatred. I have learnt so much from every trans person that I have ever spoken to and now I want to share that with you and show you that these amazing people just simply want to live their lives.
There has been so much talk, debate, discussion around gender identity in the past years that it can be hard to unpick the truth from the lies, the myths from the facts and the beauty from the bigotry!
Well, this dedicated space is somewhere for me to review and unpick articles, news, posts, interviews - and give you the truth. I want to expose the baddies and showcase the goodies, and with your support and ideas we can create a community where gender identity is discussed and facts are laid out straight.
I want to share your truth with my knowledge to help the world understand that there is nothing to fear, only something to celebrate.
Trans people are facing a difficult decade, let’s work together to make sure that education, visibility, authenticity and truth make us all sit on the right side of history for every trans or non-binary adult, child, family and person.
I will happily review anything that I see, and I welcome the ideas and suggestions and contributions from any of my listeners and readers.
