Triggernometry: the trans debate, with Konstantin Kisin

Triggernometry · 6 August 2026 · with Kellie-Jay Keen-Minshull (campaigner), Konstantin Kisin (host)

I went on Triggernometry to talk about trans healthcare for children and young people, opposite a gender-critical campaigner, with Konstantin Kisin in the chair. If you have landed here from a clip, what you are looking at is one of the more combative conversations I have had on this subject, and the moments listed below were the ones that needed the clearest answers.

The argument underneath most of them is the same one, really: that trans children do not exist, that any adult helping them is doing harm, and that the medical care available to them is dangerous experimentation with no legitimate basis. Those claims sound serious because they use clinical language, cite named reviews, and appeal to parental worry. They are also, in the main, wrong, and the answers below go through them one by one.

I said what I believed, I pushed back where pushing back was right, and I have nothing to walk back. What follows is the fuller version of what I was trying to say in a format that gives each point the space it actually needs.
