A leaked document described as a chromosome analysis sounds like hard scientific evidence, and the phrase 'male karyotype' borrows clinical language that most viewers cannot evaluate independently.
Chromosomes are one part of biology, not a master switch that overrides everything else. Conditions in which someone has a 46,XY karyotype while being female in every other biological and social sense are well documented in medicine, and a single leaked document of unverified provenance is not the whole picture. Imane Khelif is a woman: she was born a woman, grew up as a woman, and has competed as a woman her entire athletic life, and the International Olympic Committee, after conducting its own review, confirmed she met eligibility criteria. What the claim actually does is tell every woman with a chromosomal variation that her body is evidence against her womanhood, and that is a cost paid not in the abstract but by real people who have done nothing wrong.

Imane Khelif directly, through public misidentification and harassment, and more broadly intersex and DSD women who are told their chromosomes disqualify them from womanhood.
