I went on Piers Morgan Uncensored in June 2025, alongside Riley Gaines and Sara Weiss, to talk about trans athletes and sex testing in sport. What followed was one of the more direct conversations I have been part of on television, and also one of the more revealing ones, because the arguments made against trans inclusion were not really about sport at all. Underneath the talk of chromosomes and medals and cheating was something simpler: the claim that trans women are not women, that trans girls are not girls, and that medicine supporting them is abuse.
The specific claims put to me ranged from a misread lab report about Imane Khelif to an unsourced United Nations statistic about 900 stolen medals, to a flat assertion that puberty blockers are irreversible and that prescribing them to a child constitutes abuse. Each of those claims sounds like evidence. None of them holds up, and the answers below go through them one by one.
I said what I think. I did not concede the framing, because the framing is wrong, and conceding it would have left trans people less safe, not more. This page is here because the conversation deserves a full answer, not a television minute.
Each one is about half a minute, and has a page of its own.
What was put to me in this conversation, and what is actually true.
A leaked lab report confirms Imane Khelif is biologically male
See the answerMale and female are two clear biological categories everyone fits into
See the answerTrans inclusion in sport is destroying women's rights
See the answerCategorising someone as male by how they look is just identifying biology
See the answerSome of these claims deserve more than a paragraph, so each one has a film and a full piece behind it.
The studio argument is one thing. These are people it actually happens to.
