GB News invited me on to talk about puberty blockers and gender-affirming care. Ben Leo had a clear position before the conversation started, and he made it with force. That is fine. What matters is what was actually being claimed and whether it was true.
The questions moved from a specific allegation about GenderGP to the broader argument that trans identity in young people is a mental illness, that gender-affirming care is harmful by definition, and that anyone offering it is doing damage. Each claim was put as though it were settled fact. Most of them were not, and some were simply wrong. I said so at the time.
Below are the things that were put to me, in order, and what is actually true about each of them. I have not tidied up the arguments or softened them: they are here as they were made, and the answers are here as plainly as I can give them.
Each one is about half a minute, and has a page of its own.

The studio argument is one thing. These are people it actually happens to.
