Sweeping claims about trans children from someone who has met none

I have met hundreds of trans children. I have sat with them, listened to them, watched them light up when someone finally used the right name. The person making these claims had met none. Not one. And that gap matters, because you cannot understand what coercion looks like, or what its absence looks like, from a distance. Every child I have met who is trans has fought to be seen, not been pushed. The coercion story is not coming from the evidence. It is coming from people who have never been in the room.
